Practicum/Internship Opportunities
This position is for those focusing on social work, public health, nonprofit business management, systems thinking, communications, research/evaluation, diversity/equity/inclusion, and grant management. Many opportunities are college credit-based, volunteer internship positions that offer hands on, portfolio building experience. Along with your experience, you will get free membership to MOAIMH-EC.
Who are you?
Applicants should be seniors in college or master's level students. Successful candidates are students studying Social Work, Policy, Public Health, System Dynamics, Early Childhood Education, Non-profit Management, Communications, Business, Marketing, or other related subject areas.
Someone with a flexible schedule and can support one or more committees and MOAIMH-EC events.
An independent, creative and passionate advocate for infant and early childhood mental health who is excited for the opportunity to work with professionals from across the state.
What will you do?
Communicate professionally with MOAIMH-EC members and committees.
Engage in marketing and outreach to external organizations and individuals through utilization of social media, email blasts, and more.
Organize and support implementation and tracking of the goals for committees.
Serve as task support for committee chairs and MOAIMH-EC board members.
Engage in weekly supervision sessions to discuss progress, updates, and projects.
